What works for fading blemishes (acne spots)?

I have acne spots but no actual acne like bumps and zits just these darks spots that won't go away on my lower cheek and chin area. What can black folks use that'll help this problem? I have used ambi and it did nothing for me so don't recommend it, now i'm using palmers cocoa er and waiting to see if that'll help. i'm also using oxy spot treatment but i think that's for zits so that probably won't help me either. So what have you used that helped, how much and where can i get it, thanks.
