What were some influences in the creation of the American government?

So my world history teacher asked us to make a timeline of major influences on the American government from throughout history. I can't recall to many major influences on our government other than these: the Athenian democracy, Roman republic, Magna Carta, English bill of rights, and enlightenment period. We need 10 things, can someone think of any others that may have infuenced this creation. Thanks
