Baby is only sleeping a totaly of 5 hours in a 24hr period?!?

Our baby girl for the past 3-4 months has only been sleeping maybe a total of 5 hours in a night with wakings about every hour or so. We have done everything from take away her morning nap so she only gets one nap a day around 11. We did the cereal trick, the cry it out, change the temp in the house, change her outfit, keep her up later at night, pacifier, EVERYTHING..Doctor has also said we have done everything and that she is getting as much sleep as she needs for herself but you cant convince me that a baby only needs 5 hours of sleep in a 24 hour period. Most the night she is awake and crying. Shes been pulling at her ears lately and if you go NEAR her ears she will start to freak out on you. The doctor managed to look in them and said he sees nothing but I think there may be pressure deep down in the ear. She doesnt like to lay flat even to change her diaper. The only want to get her back to sleep is to let her suck on a bottle. She wont take the pacifier so thats why i think this has something to do with her ears and pressure. when you drink it allows your ears to pop when swallowing. Has anyone ever had this issue and did tubes help out at all? our next step is the ENT but im trying to get some other ideas. My husband and I are just drained completely.
