Is this ist?

I think that they are trying to eliminate the ist part and that is why it's a ridiculous rule. By always trying to make the same rules for men and women, people try to eliminate the exclusion of a certain (ism). So by trying to eliminate the ist factor this rule is creating a SEVERELY idiotic rule. Who makes these rules are people that have nothing better to do with their time and they have to feel like they are doing something useful. Basically there are rules upon rules upon rules and they just keep getting added on. I feel like the reason for this is because one rare/unusual cirstance will occur and all of a sudden the "rule makers" (with all their extra time) will find it necessary to prevent this .000000001% fluke from occuring again and they feel it necessary to inconvenience the rest of the population forever in order to make sure this "never happens again". We need rules that eliminate ridiculous, illogical, rules.
