Freedom of press in America?

I haven't heard of those particular examples, but I've known for years that we in the states have virtually NO IDEA what our government is truly doing. The idea that we need to "create a good world image" is BS, and is only used to help politicians get into power. Our media has run amok, and there is no true journalism anymore, it's all been bought out by special interests and has become a 4th branch of government. We lose our liberties every day and most 98% of american doesn't even realize it. Most are too concerned with their new phones, their celebrities, or football or whatever instead of realizing the true issues, which is that our government is a shadow of itself, and we are no longer in control of anything.
