What food do western people usually have at Christmas?

I asked my students (not native speaker of English) to write down the answers to the above question to see how much they know about western Christmas culture. Some responses are a bit confusing: wine, cake, turkey, fried and roasted chicken, champagne, mashed potatos, pottage, pie, salad, sweets, bread, pork, beef, corn porridage, duck, fish, gingerbread, pizza, pudding, boiled egg, stewed rice, pumpkin juice, bacon, tail, cheese. Which of the above are not typical foods that western people usually have at Christmas? Thanks!
