What is the technical term?

I have a 1965 Plymouth Valiant that I am in the process of restoring. I started with the engine and found that the Keepers for the intake and exhaust valves have either shattered or torn through the peice that goes on top of the valve spring. I have found the keepers online but don't know what to call the other peice to find it. Thanks
