How can I tell if he likes me or not?!?

I lke this guy and we gave eachother nicknames and we talk between and during cles and one time I saw him talking to one of his friends and he pointed at me and I don't know what he said and I'm freaking out because what if I say I like him and he doesn't lke me??!!!
