Does Mercy Malaysia (NGO) extend help to non Muslim nations?

Mercy Malaysia has revealed of plans to send a team to Libya on humanitarian grounds - to provide medical istance to the victims. Strangely, I don't hear such plans for New Zealand - which is a victim of recent earth quakes. The PM of NZ has even appealed for International Aid in terms of funds.
